Sleepy Hallows — Invoking Gustav

Hi! It's me! Gustav the ghost!

Golly gee, am I glad to see you ... or have you see me, I guess I should say. Finally, there is someone who cares about Halloween as much as I do.
And boy oh boy are we going to have fun today!

If you're wondering who I am, I am ... or, was ... a 6-year-old boy. I broke my neck in 1899 when I snuck out to ride Duchess, my big sister's horse. I know everyone in my family was sad when I died, but it was the most fun I ever had, until the fun stopped with a loud crack.

Anyway, I'm here now, and I love the village, but I've been noticing more and more that people come here for Oktoberfest and forget all about Halloween — even in September! So today we're going to do a quick look at some of the things that have made All Hallows so magical over the years.

Since you're here, I'm pretty sure you know how to access the Aetherwaves. You'll encounter a few festive steps & 13 official Halloween questions throughout our village vagabondary. They're all included in the form below. Sounds like magic to me!

There are no wrong answers ... well, there sort of are, but I'm not all that interested in what you already know. I'm more interested in what you might learn!

When you're ready, fasten your boots and grab your slate and chalk to fill in the answers (or however they write things down in the Aether).

Then follow meeeeeeee ...

After completing Action Question Four,
Return to Studio 14 to share your recording, photo, and video.
While there, recite and inquire about the following:

There is a box stuffed in a desk.
Its numbered lock doth plague and vex.
In it lies a little token.
It is yours when the code is broken.

Action Answers one then three
when side by side comprise the key.

(If you’re not sure, just put the year
When California gold was near)

Now head back to Studio 14 to ask about the mysterious "box" that doth plague and vex
